BUILT IN 1964 BY CIA EUSKALDUNA, BILBAO. OWNED AT TIME OF LOSS BY ANONIMAL VENEZOLANA DE NAVEGACION. WAS DESTROYED BY FIRE WHILST DISCHARGING CARGO. THE BLAZE CONTINUED FOR 10 DAYS AND WAS ONLY EXITINGUSHED WHEN THE VESSEL SANK. (MSD).
