The shipwreck known as S ANDREA is located at coordinates 39 49.04 N, 18 16 E, situated in the Ionian Sea off the coast of Santa Maria di Leuca, Italy. Historical survey records from the UK Hydrographic Office initially identified the wreck at a depth of 4 fathoms and 2 feet. Subsequent maritime reports confirmed that the S ANDREA was salvaged in 1959, resulting in the removal of the obstruction from navigational charts. This site is no longer considered a hazard to shipping.
