Simplified Wreck Survey

The shipwreck of the vessel Riverdance is historically located at coordinates 53 52.1 N, 3 3.65 W along the UK coastline. Grounded in February 2008, the vessel initially suffered severe weather damage, ending up on its side and sinking into the sand. Salvage operations throughout 2008 successfully removed the cargo, fuel residues, and the bow before the ship was systematically dismantled and cut down to nearly ground level. By early 2009, the remaining structure of the Riverdance wreck was completely cut up and removed from the site to be recycled.
