Simplified Wreck Survey
The wreck of the Queen Victoria is located in the Irish Sea off the coast of Dublin Bay at coordinates 53 21.604 N, 6 3.062 W. Initially identified as a broken wreck lying in two parts, subsequent surveys have characterized the site as a submerged underwater obstruction. The obstruction, which sits in a general water depth of approximately 16 meters, has recorded least depths ranging from 12.3 meters to 15.9 meters. Following a GSI Dublin Bay survey and reprocessing, the site is classified as an underwater obstruction with a least depth of 12.9 meters. The structure measures approximately 15 to 17.5 meters in length with a width of 7.5 meters and a height of 3.5 meters. Data indicates the feature may be a natural formation or a degraded, broken wreck.
