VESSEL, [EX-HMS AFTERGLOW], BUILT 1919 IN LOWESTOFT. BEACHED AFTER BREAKING AWAY IN A GALE IN 1945. WAS USED BY BRITISH GOVERNMENT AS AN ARMED VESSEL FOR THE PROTECTION OF LOCAL SEALING RIGHTS. (FALKLAND ISLAND SHORES, PUBLISHED 1985).
