Simplified Wreck Survey

Wreck of the vessel PISCES located at coordinates 51 18.767 N, 1 24.613 E off the coast of Kent near the Strait of Dover. This underwater obstruction consists of the remains of a vessel originally reported as having sunk in December 1995. Surveys describe the wreckage as well broken with the engine block lying in a trench near a chalk ridge and the remains of the hull lying flat on the seabed within a sandy area. The site was historically charted as foul ground. A 2019 multibeam sonar survey did not locate the remains at the charted position, leading to the wreck being amended as dead in official hydrographic records.
