The capsized and assumed sunken shipwreck of the vessel Piria I is located at coordinates 35 04.0 S, 55 30.0 W off the coast of Uruguay in the Rio de la Plata and Atlantic Ocean area. Confirmed by official hydrographic notices, this underwater obstruction and maritime hazard was last assessed in March 2015 when it was classified as dead and removed from official charts.
