Simplified Wreck Survey

Underwater obstruction located off the coast of Jamaica near Kingston Harbour at coordinates 17 58.019 N, 76 45.107 W. This seafloor feature was identified in May 2018 as a probable industrial pipe originating from a nearby power station. The structure measures 95 meters in length, 4.3 meters in width, and 4.5 meters in height, with an orientation of 145/325 degrees. Bathymetric surveys confirm a least depth of 2.83 meters over the obstruction, which sits in a general water depth of 7 meters. The seaward end of the pipe features a distinct structure, possibly a diffuser. Navigational charts identify this as a charted underwater obstruction at a depth of 2.8 meters.
