PASSAGE DURBAN FOR MUSCAT. RAN AGROUND ON BARRAS DA INDIA, IN DANGER OF BREAKING UP. 21 CREW SAFELY RESCUED BY HELICOPTER INCLUDING RESCUE CREW STRANDED ABOARD FROM M BULK CARRIER ELLINA. PEP ICE WAS EVENTUALLY REFLOATED ON A SPRING TIDE. 12 MILLION OF THE 17 MILLION EGGS ON BOARD WERE CONDEMNED. (LLOYDS VOL.239)
