Wreck details for the vessel PAUL located off the coast of Whitby. The wreck is situated at coordinates 54 24.178 N, 0 25.686 W. Historical surveying records indicate the obstruction has been subject to multiple search efforts over the past century. Despite several historical reports, recent multibeam surveys conducted in 2016 and prior assessments in 1975 and 1997 failed to locate any remains of the vessel at this position, leading the UK Hydrographic Office to classify the site as dead. The wreck is no longer considered a navigational hazard in the North Sea near Whitby.
