Simplified Wreck Survey

Underwater wreck located at coordinates 35 46.329 N, 0 33.699 W in the Mediterranean Sea off the coast of Algeria near Oran. This submerged obstruction, historically documented in UK Hydrographic Office records as a wreck, has been subject to multiple surveys since 1951. Previous nautical charts identified the site with a depth of 9 meters or approximately 4 fathoms and 5 feet. While early reports mentioned salvage buoys, later survey data indicates the wreck position has shifted or been refined in subsequent nautical charts, including updates to BA 822. Current maritime data identifies the wreck position at 35 46.463 N, 0 33.915 W. Mariners should treat this location as a navigational hazard.
