Simplified Wreck Survey

Underwater wreck record located in the German Bight of the North Sea at coordinates 54 3.977 N, 7 24.687 E. This submerged obstruction has a complex survey history spanning several decades of hydrographic observation. Initial reports from 1971 and 1972 identified a non-dangerous wreck and a swept depth of 34.6 meters (19 fathoms) in the vicinity. Subsequent adjustments in 1983 refined the positional data to 54 04.01 N, 07 24.46 E using European datum. By 1984, the site was charted in conjunction with a nearby wreck to the northwest. The site is currently documented as covered by survey 30074 as indicated on German hydrographic charts. This wreck remains a significant point of interest for maritime navigation and hydrographic surveying in the North Sea region.
