Simplified Wreck Survey

The underwater wreck located at coordinates 51 37.631 N, 0 46.949 E in the River Crouch estuary has been officially confirmed as cleared and removed. Historical survey records for this site indicate that the obstruction, previously identified as a mast of a wreck, no longer poses a navigational hazard. The wreckage, which was once marked by a North Cardinal buoy and formerly designated with red visual aids, was subject to salvage operations in March 2000 by the Crouch Harbour Authority. Following these successful recovery efforts, the site was confirmed clear and no further action or charting is required for this underwater obstruction.
