Simplified Wreck Survey

Underwater wreck located at 58 15.621 N, 2 25.017 W in the North Sea off the coast of Scotland. This submerged shipwreck was surveyed in 2012, confirming a least depth of 48.55 meters within a general depth of 53 meters. The site consists of a well broken up wreck, with the main structural parts and associated debris field covering an area of 72.6 meters by 39 meters. The main section of the vessel lies on an axis of 035/215 degrees. Survey data indicates a strong magnetic anomaly associated with the wreck, confirming the presence of significant metallic wreckage. A minor scour has been identified close to the northwest of the main part of the structure. Historical survey data from 2006 noted the wreck was previously in two parts, but recent examinations confirm the site is now more extensively broken up. The wreck is charted as a 48-meter obstruction.
