Underwater obstruction located near the Gulf of Khambhat coast at coordinates 21 42.29 N, 72 28 E. Historical survey data identifies the site as containing a broken anchor and cable debris first reported in April 2012, with subsequent reports of a seafloor foul in May 2012. This underwater wreck and obstruction site is recorded in UK Hydrographic Office archives and Indian Naval charts as a navigational hazard. The obstruction consists of scattered metallic debris including remnants of heavy maritime equipment. Mariners are advised to exercise caution when navigating in the vicinity of these coordinates off the Indian coastline.
