Simplified Wreck Survey

Underwater wreck located off the North Yorkshire coast near Whitby at coordinates 54 30.077 N, 0 32.135 W. Historical records indicate the remains of a well broken up vessel measuring 50 meters in length with a structural height of 4.7 meters. The wreck lies on a 130/310 degree orientation with a least echo sounder depth of 46 meters in an area of 50 meters depth. Although previously identified, a 2016 multibeam sonar survey failed to locate the obstruction at these coordinates, leading to a status of dead or non-existent at this specific position.
