Simplified Wreck Survey

Underwater Obstruction Survey Details Position 57 15.461 N 1 30.023 W North Sea off the coast of Scotland. This underwater wreck and marine obstruction was initially reported after fishing trawls snagged on the seabed in 85 meters of water. A subsequent detailed hydrographic examination using DGPS established the least multibeam depth at 75.64 meters within a general depth of 79.6 meters. The intact, upright underwater structure lies on a heading of 055/235 degrees with its bow facing northeast, measuring 33 meters in length, 9 meters in width, and standing 4 meters high with a 1.3-meter deep scour extending 6 meters towards 075 degrees. The site exhibits a poor magnetic anomaly and is classified as a highly degraded underwater obstruction.
