Simplified Wreck Survey

This unidentified underwater wreck is located in the North Sea off the eastern coast of Scotland, near Aberdeenshire, at coordinates 57° 12.86' N, 1° 31.456' W. Discovered and detailed during high-precision DGPS and multibeam sonar surveys by Gardline Hydro onboard the MV Vigilant, the vessel rests upright and intact on the seabed in a general water depth of 80 meters. The wreck structure measures approximately 29 meters in length, 7 meters in width, and stands 4 meters high above the seafloor, with a least multibeam depth recorded at 76.15 meters (officially charted at 76 meters). Orientated along a 070/250-degree alignment, the ship lies with its bows likely facing West-Southwest. Hydrographic survey details also reveal a 0.7-meter-deep seabed scour extending 4.4 meters toward 250 degrees and a slight magnetic anomaly associated with the intact hull structure.
