Simplified Wreck Survey

Underwater wreck located at coordinates 36 7.199 N, 5 22.712 W in the Strait of Gibraltar near the coast of southern Spain and North Africa. This submerged obstruction features a height of 2.0 meters and a length of 3.1 meters, initially reported as a potential submarine, possibly associated with HMS Grimsby, and charted as foul ground. The site was later surveyed in 2006 by HMS Roebuck using multibeam sonar, during which the wreck was not located and recommended for deletion, though it continues to appear as foul ground on Spanish chart 4451.
