Simplified Wreck Survey

Underwater Wreck Survey Details: HMS Kellett Located at Coordinates 51 56.224 N, 1 40.618 E Off the English Coast in the North Sea. Comprehensive hydrographic survey records document the historical dispersal operations and structural dimensions of this submerged shipwreck. Originally discovered in 1931 as a wreck with a least depth of 39 feet, the site underwent explosive dispersal in 1932 to a depth of 46 feet. Modern multibeam and DGPS examinations conducted by the UK Hydrographic Office confirm the current least depth is 15.7 meters within a general surrounding depth of 24 meters. The structural dimensions of the wreck measure approximately 114 meters in length, 27 meters in width, and a height of 8.8 meters, oriented at a 032/212 degree heading. Survey data notes indicate that the vessel is heavily broken up, lying on its starboard side, and heavily entangled in fishing nets with a 300-meter scour and a strong magnetic anomaly.
