Underwater Wreck Survey Details Coordinates 51 55.561 N 1 40.403 E Located in the North Sea off the southeast coast of England near the Thames Estuary and Strait of Dover Historic shipwreck site examined through multiple hydrographic surveys between 1976 and 2016 Latest multibeam survey records a least depth of 17.8 meters in a general depth of 24 meters Structural measurements show a length of 40 meters a width of 18 meters and a height of 6.7 meters oriented at 165 to 345 degrees The submerged structure is heavily degraded and broken up from midships to the bow with associated debris spread over a 20 meter distance Features a strong magnetic anomaly and a significant scour length of 375 meters extending 1.5 meters deep towards 200 degrees Lying on its side and heavily entangled in fishing nets
