Simplified Wreck Survey

Underwater Obstruction and Wreck Survey Details located at coordinates 51 57.161 N, 1 36.075 E off the southeast coast of England in the North Sea. Historical hydrographic surveys conducted by the UK Hydrographic Office document a deteriorating submerged wreck and seabed obstruction originally examined in 1987 and last comprehensively surveyed in February 2016. Recent multibeam sonar data records a least depth of 12.8 meters within a general surrounding depth of 14 meters. The structural description of the wreck indicates it comprises three cylindrical objects of varying sizes, measuring 7.5 meters in length, 5 meters in width, and standing at a height of 1.3 meters with an orientation of 033/213 degrees. Associated seabed morphology includes a scour length of 35 meters and a depth of 2 meters towards 033 degrees, accompanied by a moderate magnetic anomaly. Divers and sonar data confirm the site is an established underwater navigational hazard.
