Underwater Wreck Survey Details Position 51 52447 N 1 39762 E Unnamed Shipwreck Located in the North Sea off the coast of England This historic underwater obstruction was first fouled by an Oropesa sweep in June 1932 and has been extensively surveyed by Royal Navy vessels including HMS Kellet HMS Fawn HMS Egeria and HMS Beagle as well as modern multibeam sonar investigations Comprehensive hydrographic surveys record the wreck lying upright on the seabed oriented on a heading of 045 to 225 degrees with dimensions measuring approximately 374 meters in length 85 meters in width and a height of 67 meters The least depth over the wreck is 164 meters measured via multibeam echosounder set against a general surrounding seabed depth of 23 meters Structural descriptions note that the vessel is generally in good condition with the exception of the stern showing signs of deterioration and a strong magnetic anomaly Divers and surveys have noted scour effects extending 75 meters towards 215 degrees as well as fishing nets and buoys entangled within the structure
