Simplified Wreck Survey

This hydrographic survey record details an unidentified underwater obstruction and dangerous shipwreck located in the Aegean Sea near the Dodecanese island of Tilos, Greece, at coordinates 36 24.818 N, 27 24.044 E. Navigational records from the UK Hydrographic Office and the Hellenic Navy Hydrographic Service first charted the dangerous wreck in 2007 on Greek chart 424. An official update in October 2007 (Greek Notice to Mariners 9/187/07 and Admiralty Notice to Mariners 5216/07) confirmed the maritime obstruction as a dangerous submerged wreck with visible masts located near position 36 24.883 N, 27 24.075 E.
