Simplified Wreck Survey

Underwater wreck site located in the North Sea off the coast of St Abbs, Scotland. The wreck is situated at coordinates 56 17.786 N, 2 24.196 W. Hydrographic surveys confirm the wreck lies at a depth of 45.6 meters within a general seabed depth of 49.9 meters. The structure measures 28 meters in length, 8 meters in width, and stands 4.3 meters high. The vessel is oriented 105/295 degrees with the bows pointing ESE. It is identified as a small, degraded two-engine aircraft wreck, reported to be heavily festooned with fishing nets and lying with a starboard list. The surrounding seabed shows a scour depth of 1.5 meters within a 30-meter radius of the wreckage. Previous historical surveys noted the site consisted of two pieces, though it remains a confirmed underwater obstruction.
