Simplified Wreck Survey

Underwater wreck survey details for an obstruction located off the coast of Scotland in the North Sea at coordinates 56 22.077 N, 2 12.676 W. This seafloor feature was examined in February 2008 using DGPS hydrographic survey methods. The wreck is an intact, upright vessel measuring 26 meters in length, 8 meters in width, and 4.1 meters in height. It lies on a 040/220 degree orientation with the bow facing southwest. A multibeam echo sounder survey recorded a least depth of 48.5 meters in an area with a general seabed depth of 52.6 meters. A scour pit measuring 1.2 meters deep was identified within 5 meters of the wreck structure, which exhibits a moderate magnetic anomaly. Historically recorded as a non-dangerous wreck in 1962, this underwater obstruction is now charted as a 48-meter depth wreck site in its revised position.
