Simplified Wreck Survey

Underwater obstruction located at coordinates 54 52.237 N, 1 29.375 E in the North Sea near the Dogger Bank. This seabed hazard consists of a lost cone penetrometer and associated metal rods, potentially tangled with cables, abandoned during geotechnical investigations for the Dogger Bank Wind Farm. Due to the nature of the equipment, it is considered unlikely that the debris remains proud of the seabed, though the site is charted as foul ground. Mariners and subsea operators should exercise caution in this vicinity of the North Sea as the wreckage remains an underwater obstruction on the seafloor.
