VESSEL, BUILT 1953, WHILST ORIGINALLY EN-ROUTE FROM MAPUTO TO JAPAN, ARRIVED AT DIEGO SUAREZ WITH LEAKAGE IN HER HOLDS. SHE WAS LATER REPORTED TO HAVE BEEN DETAINED BY LOCAL AUTHORITIES AT TOAMASINA WITH HER CARGO DISCHARGED. SHE WAS THEN ANCHORED OFF THE E COAST OF MADAGASCAR, SOUTH OF TOAMASINA, LATER SINKING. OWNED AT TIME OF LOSS BY CHIEN LUNG NAVIGATION CO., S.A.. (MSD).
