The wreck of the vessel ORIANE is located in the Ionian Sea off the west coast of Zante, Greece, at coordinates 37 39.93 N, 20 17.96 E. Originally reported after a sinking event in 1981 with an approximate position given as 37 40.00 N, 20 18.00 E, the site remains underwater. The wreck is situated roughly 18 meters off the west coast of Zakynthos. Due to the depth of the seafloor at this location, the wreck is classified as too deep to be charted for surface navigation. The ORIANE serves as an underwater obstruction in these waters.
