VESSEL, BUILT 1955 BY WERFT NOBISKRUG, RENSDBURG. OWNED AT TIME OF LOSS BY SEVEN SEAS MARITIME CO.. ON PASSAGE FROM SINGAPORE FOR JAKARTA. DELIBERATELY BEACHED BY HER MASTER WHEN SHE STRUCK AN UNKNOWN OBJECT & SPRANG A LEAK. FOUR DAYS LATER SHE CAPSIZED & SANK IN SHALLOW WATER, EVENTUALLY ROLLING INTO DEEPER WATER. (DODS).
