Simplified Wreck Survey

The underwater wreck known as OIEKAST is historically documented at coordinates 50 0.29 N, 0 50.08 W. Initial hydrographic reports from the UK Hydrographic Office designated the site as a non-dangerous wreck with a reported depth of 24 meters based on French chart records. Subsequent survey updates and wreck record corrections conducted up to January 1990 indicate that the obstruction was no longer present on updated editions and has been officially deleted and amended as a dead wreck from navigational charts.
