UK Hydrographic Office wreck record for LCT 293 located at coordinates 50 6.04 N, 0 45.09 W. Historical survey data from November 1944 notes the vessel sank in the English Channel area under Portsmouth command, initially charted as a non-dangerous wreck with a position approximate status. Further updates in 1974 recorded the depth at 40 meters or 22 fathoms with known tonnage. By 1990, after failing to appear on subsequent foreign editions and wreck records, the status was amended to dead and deleted from official charts.
