Simplified Wreck Survey

The underwater wreck of the vessel Normandy is located off the coast of Uruguay near Montevideo at coordinates 34 54.233 S, 56 13.667 W. Initially discovered as a navigation hazard marked by a green conical light buoy with a least depth of 8 meters, the shipwreck has since been completely dispersed and the marking buoy removed. Official hydrographic surveys have now erased the wreck from nautical charts, amending its status to a dead obstruction.
