HOLED BOTTOM & RUDDER LOST OFF WHEN SHE STRUCK ROCKS IN THICK FOG DUE TO RADAR BEING PUT OUT OF ACTION BY FIRE. STRANDED AT FOOT OF CLIFFS AT FIRST & LAST HOUSE, DOLLAR COVE, LANDS END & SAT ON TOP OF WK OF LA VARENNE. ABANDONED, ALL CREW SAFE. SOLD TO OCEAN TOWAGE AND SALVAGE CO LTD FOR SCRAP BUT WENT TO PIECES IN A FEW DAYS. (MSD).
