Circumstances of loss
MAST BROKE WHILE ON PASSAGE FROM FALMOUTH TO POOLE. THE ONLY PERSON ON BOARD WAS RESCUED AND THE VESSEL WAS LEFT DRIFTING IN 491500N, 035100W. VESSEL WAS LATER SIGHTED STRANDED ON PLESTIN LES GREVES NEAR MORLAIX. HULL WOULD ALREADY BE STAVED IN. (LL, VOL 222).
