Simplified Wreck Survey

The wreck of the vessel MONONA was previously located at coordinates 34 19.9 S, 58 29.2 W within the Rio de la Plata estuary near the Argentine coast. The underwater obstruction was originally reported 280 meters from the KM 46.5 lighthouse beacon. Following official survey records from the UK Hydrographic Office, the wreck of the MONONA was confirmed as removed in 1985 and the site was cleared for maritime navigation.
