Simplified Wreck Survey

The shipwreck MONIKA, located at coordinates 55 03.66 N, 08 28.72 E in the North Sea off the coast of Denmark, has been officially recorded as salvaged and removed. Historical survey data for the site indicated a wreck originally detected at a depth of 7 meters, later revised to 8 meters, which was temporarily marked by a West Cardinal buoy situated 40 meters northwest of the obstruction. Following salvage operations documented in Danish Notice to Mariners 1644/85, the wreck has been cleared and the site is no longer considered an underwater hazard to navigation. The entry for the MONIKA wreck is now deleted from maritime charts.
