Simplified Wreck Survey

The wreck of the vessel KALANCHOE is located in the North Sea at coordinates 54 58.86 N, 8 2.42 E. Historical survey records from the UK Hydrographic Office note that the wreck was originally identified in 1986 at position 54 58.54 N, 08 02.30 E. Following initial salvage operations reported in August 1986, the status of the wreck was updated and later classified as dead or removed from navigational charts as of February 2016. This underwater obstruction, historically recorded under reference H2122/80 and H2069/86, is no longer charted on DE221000. While once marked by temporary North and West cardinal light buoys, the wreck site is currently considered cleared for navigational purposes.
