29.4.41 EX-NESTOR. BUILT IN 1912 BY MACKAY BROS, ALLOA. REQUISTIONED BY THE MINISTRY OF SHIPPING FOR USE AS AMMUNITION STORAGE SHIP AT PLYMOUTH. DAMAGED DURING GERMAN AIR ATTACK 29.4.41 AND SANK NEXT DAY AT BULL PT. WAS REFLOATED 2 YEARS LATER AND TOWED TO SOUND OF GIGHA FOR USE AS BOMBING TARGET FOR LIVE BOMBS. SANK 5.1.44 AFTER BEING BADLY DAMAGED. (ARGYLL SHIPWRECKS).
