VESSEL, BUILT 1957 BY OTTENSENER EISENWERK, HAMBURG. OWNED AT TIME OF LOSS BY SOPROMAR, SRL. ON PASSAGE FROM MILAZZO FOR ALGIERS. RAN AGROUND ON SKERKI BANK. SHE WAS REFLOATED, BUT CAPSIZED AND SANK OFF THE WEST COAST OF SICILY, WHILST ON TOW. ALL 14 CREW WERE SAVED. (MSD).
