Simplified Wreck Survey
UK Hydrographic Office survey records for the underwater wreck MILTON located near Lisbon, Portugal at coordinates 38 42.833 N, 9 6.75 W. Historical records show the wreck was originally uncovered at low water near Santa Apolomia Pier and marked by two lights at night starting in 1920. The lighting markers were subsequently removed in October 1921. In January 1929, the wreck position was amended near Castle Observation Tower with a least depth of 4 fathoms and temporarily buoyed. By December 1934, the wreck was amended to dead and deleted from nautical charts.
