Simplified Wreck Survey
The underwater wreck of the vessel MESURADO is located off the coast of Liberia near Lower Buchanan at coordinates 5 45.983 N, 10 1.2 W. Historical hydrographic survey data indicates the wreck rests in a general depth area originally reported between 6.5 and 9 fathoms. Following reports of the vessel sinking in July 1976, subsequent surveys amended the obstruction position and depth. The wreck was officially recorded with a least depth clearance of approximately 8.7 meters. This underwater obstruction remains documented in nautical records for safe navigation in the vicinity of the Tobokanni Rock area.
