BUILT IN 1846 BY SHIELDS. OWNED AT TIME OF LOSS BY THE ELBE & HUMBER S NAVIGATION CO. COMPOUND ENGINES OF 80 RHP FOR 9 KNOTS. PRESUMED SANK FOLLOWING COLLISION WITH BARQUE WOODHOUSE WHILE ON PASSAGE HAMBURG TO HULL. CREW OF 18 AND 30 PASSENGERS.
