BUILT IN 1951. OWNED AT TIME OF LOSS BY BARU SHIPPING CO SA. PASSAGE AEGION, GREECE FOR NIGERIA. CARGO OF CEMENT, FIBRE PIPES AND OIL IN CASKS. SPRANG A LEAK, DEVELOPED A LIST IN HEAVY SEAS AND WAS ABANDONED BY HER CREW OFF GADIR. LATER PRESUMED TO HAVE SUNK AFTER NO FURTHER SIGHTINGS. (MSD).
