Modern multibeam sonar surveys conducted in July 2018 recorded a least depth of 44.44 meters in a general depth of 46 meters, with dimensions measuring 34.7 meters in length, 12.7 meters in width, and a height of 1.6 meters oriented at 052/232 degrees. The structural description notes that the partially buried wreck has a visible outline and appears upright on the seabed. Historical survey records dating back to 1924 document its origin following a collision 10 miles from the Owers lightvessel, with subsequent sonar searches and echo sounder detections tracking its changing status from an unexamined non-dangerous wreck to its current surveyed position.
