Sunk on March 5, 1993, the wreck's least depth was initially unknown, but hydrographic surveys later confirmed it as a submerged obstruction covered by less than 20 meters of water. Updated French nautical charts established its precise position, and subsequent surveys in January 2008 confirmed the wreck has a clear clearance depth of 14 meters.
