VESSEL, BUILT 1945 BY J LEWIS & SONS,LTD., ABERDEEN. OWNED AT TIME OF LOSS BY ANTONIO SCOTTO DI SANTOLO. ON PASSAGE FROM BAIA, NAPLES, TO PORTO EMPEDOCLE, SICILY. TOOK ON WATER IN A VERY ROUGH SEA & SANK IN THE TYRRHENIAN SEA, ABOUT 56M SW OF CAPE MISENO. ALL NINE CREW RESCUED. (MSD).
