Simplified Wreck Survey

The underwater wreck of the vessel MARDI DAN is located off the west coast of Scotland near the Firth of Lorn, with the confirmed wreckage position at coordinates 56 29.59 N, 5 36.866 W. This site was originally reported as a vessel sinking in approximately 147 meters of water. Following a 2014 hydrographic survey conducted by INIS Hydro, the site was surveyed but the wreck was not located by multibeam sonar, leading to a classification of the wreck as dispersed. The site is currently designated as dead on official charts for this area of the Scottish coast.
