Simplified Wreck Survey

Historic shipwreck Mal Abrigo located at coordinates 34 35 S, 58 19 W in the Rio de la Plata estuary near Buenos Aires. The underwater wreck, originally recorded from 1923, was positioned approximately 3.67 miles from the La Prensa Tower and marked by a green conical light buoy. Survey records from December 2023 indicate that both the wreck and its marking buoy have been officially deleted from hydrographic charts following local notices to mariners.
