Sunk during World War II, the vessel was a 1,145 gross tonnage coal burner lost in 1945. Historical Admiralty records note its sinking position, though subsequent hydrographic surveys by Gardline in 2002 and Meritaito in 2021 failed to locate the obstruction during multibeam sonar searches, leading to the wreck being classified as dead and deleted from active navigational charts.
